RVC Leaders Named to Greater Rockford Chamber’s Inaugural 40 Over 40 Class
John F. Kennedy once said, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” With a mission centered on empowering lifelong learners, it is fitting that two Rock Valley College leaders have been named to the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural class of 40 Over 40 honorees.
Creatives at RVC Win National Recognition
RVC’s award-winning Communications and Marketing Department team put their creativity center stage to compete against over one thousand colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all fifty United States and numerous foreign countries in the 41st Annual Educational Advertising Awards.
National Marketing Council Honors RVC
Rock Valley College (RVC) has received a 2025 Bronze Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at the council’s national conference in March in Washington, D.C. The award, for Print Materials, celebrates the college’s marketing team for its work on the RVC Career and Technical Education viewbook.
RVC Starlight Theatre: Favorite in the Chicagoland Area
According to the voters of BroadwayWorld Chicago, Rock Valley College Starlight Theatre is a fan favorite. Through public voting, RVC Starlight took the top spots in eight out of 20 of the 2025 BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards categories.
