Returning to RVC
- Apply to Rock Valley College. Your first step is to apply to the college. For help, review our getting started steps.
- Meet with an advisor. Your academic advisor can help review your past credits and plan for your future certificate or degree program goals.
- Register and pay for classes. Once you have a plan in place, prepare for the first day of the semester by registering for classes and paying for college.

Visiting Students
Returning home to the Rockford-area for the summer or winter is a great time to take a few classes and get ahead on your educational journey. Visiting Students, or Students-at-Large, are non-degree seeking students that are interested in completing a few classes at Rock Valley College while enrolled at another college or university.
