RVC Alumni Heading to France for Cannes International Film Festival

After their time at Rock Valley College, we often wonder what adventure our alums set their sights on next. And whenever possible, we love to share their stories and accomplishments. For brothers TJ and Aaron Hill, and Aaron's wife, Shelby Hill, the trio has had an exciting year and more to come in the month ahead.

RVC Launches Medical Assistant Program

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Medical Assistants is projected to grow 18 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations. More Medical Assistants are employed by practicing physicians than any other type of allied health personnel. Employers of Certified Medical Assistants in the Rockford region are eagerly awaiting program graduates; however, there has not been a local training program from which they can recruit. Until now.

RVC Student Named Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar

Rock Valley College student and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member, Isabella Wright, has been named a 2023 Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
