Welding Student Expands Career Opportunities
Joshua "Red" Redding was curious about bigger opportunities for his career when Rock Valley College announced the opening of the Advanced Technology Center. Tuition waivers were available for CTE programs like Welding, Machining, and Mechatronics, and he saw it as an opportunity to learn additional skills.
GED Student Rewards Herself
It's been 30 years since the last time Maricela Garcia attended a class. She came to the United States from Mexico in 1996 at 15 and had only completed school through sixth grade.
