RVC History Professor Named Faculty of the Year
With over 50 faculty nominated, Rock Valley College proudly names history professor Dan Blumlo, Ph.D. as the 2026 Faculty of the Year following a campus-wide nomination and selection process.
RVC Faculty Mark Career Milestone
Rock Valley College is proud to announce the awarding of tenure to four faculty members whose dedication to teaching, service, and student success has made a lasting impact on the institution. Matthew Cole, Samantha Flygare, Johnathan Cole Regnery, and Anthony Schiassi have each demonstrated excellence in their fields while helping to prepare students for meaningful careers.
New Book Honors RVC’s Legacy and Impact
What began as a community dream in 1964 now fills the pages of a new book brought to life by Rock Valley College history professor Dr. Daniel Blumlo. Colleagues, alumni, students, and community members gathered in the Stenstrom Student Center Atrium on Friday, October 10, to recognize Blumlo’s work in preserving the college's story from its humble beginnings to the present day.
