RVC Starlight Takes Center Stage at Annual Lou Awards

Rock Valley College Starlight Theatre delights stateline area audiences each summer with five major musical productions and Shakespeare on the lawn. Once again, their excellence in theatrical storytelling and artistry has caught the eye of the Lou Awards.

RVC Named Finalist for National Awards

Rock Valley College (RVC) continues to gain national attention for its dedication to student success and workforce development. The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) has named RVC a finalist in two distinguished award categories, recognizing the college’s leadership and innovation in higher education.

RVC Receives National Diversity and Inclusion Award

RVC received the 2024 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, for its dedication to improving campus climate and culture for all students and employees.

RVC Partnership Wins State Recognition

Each year, the Illinois Community College Trustee Association (ICCTA) recognizes an Illinois business that has built successful workforce-training alliances with their local community college. This year, Bourne & Koch received the 2024 Business/Industry Partnership Award for their collaboration with Rock Valley College, selected from 11 nominations.
