RVC's Estelle M. Black Library (located in the Educational Resource Center) will proudly display banned books as well as an interactive poster display. Are you unsure of what books have been banned? The RVC Library has you covered! They will have lists available.


RVC To Host Annual College Night On Oct 5

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Rock Valley College will once again host its annual College Night on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the RVC Physical Education Center (PEC).


Student Life Leadership Awards

On Tuesday, May 3, Rock Valley College students and organizations were honored at the Annual Student Life Leadership Awards Banquet. The Department of Student Life chose an Evening of Elegance as this year’s theme, encouraging students to dress to impress since most of them had previously missed out on their high school prom celebrations due to COVID.

On Friday, April 29, 2022, the Rock Valley College Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hosted the inaugural Eagle Awards of Excellence.


Rep Vella And Il House Speaker Welch To Visit RVC

State Rep. Dave Vella, D-Rockford, will host Illinois House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch, D-Hillside, Thursday afternoon for a tour of Rock Valley College and a discussion on vocational education and law enforcement training efforts at the community college.
