RVC Emergency (Partial) Power Shut Down on Sunday, September 29, 2024
On Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, there will be no power to the west side of the main campus to make the necessary emergency repairs to the electric line that was hit during construction this week.
Rock Valley College Seeks Applicants for Free Film/TV Workforce Training Program
Following the success of its previous free Film and TV workforce training cohort, the Mass Communication program at Rock Valley College announces the next iteration of its immersive tuition-free, in-person Film and TV Workforce Training Program designed to provide participants with the training and knowledge needed to land entry-level positions on motion picture productions, TV commercials, independent shorts, music videos, and more.
RVC Receives Grant Funding for TRACE Program
Rock Valley College recently received grant funding for the Trade Review and Career Exploration (TRACE) Program, which is designed for underserved in-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24 in Winnebago and Boone Counties in Illinois, with an emphasis on the City of Rockford.
