RVC Honor Society Breaks Down Stigma of Living with a Disability
Students with disabilities often face challenges academically as a result of their disability or because of the stigma surrounding disability. One honor society seeks to change that. Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society (DAP) is one of the only collegiate honor societies for students with disabilities.
RVC To Host Science Olympiad On March 18
Rock Valley College will host a Science Olympiad Regional Competition for over 300 middle and high school students on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The event will take place from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the RVC main campus (3301 N. Mulford Rd.), with an awards ceremony at 4:00 pm.

Creating art isn’t just an expression of individuality and creativity – it can lead individuals wherever they want to go in life. And for nearly 200 area high school students, it led directly to Rock Valley College for the 30th Annual Juried High School Art Show, where their creativity and individuality are on display now through April 5, 2023, in RVC’s Educational Resource Center.
Leading Anti Racist Writer And Activist To Speak At RVC
Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. On Thursday, April 27, 2023, Wise will be on Rock Valley College’s Main Campus to speak on “The Attack on Critical Race Theory: What’s It Really About?”
