RVC Breaks Ground on New Campus
Rock Valley College (RVC) officially broke ground on its new Downtown West Campus on Thursday, March 27, celebrating with nearly 100 employees, stakeholders, and community partners in attendance. The campus, located at the intersection of Chestnut and Winnebago Streets in downtown Rockford, will house a variety of programs targeted at adult learners and is scheduled to open in August 2026.

RVC received the 2024 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, for its dedication to improving campus climate and culture for all students and employees.
