Women's History Month 2022

Join RVC in celebrating Women's History Month this March! 

The 2022 Women's History theme, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.

Join the Women's History Month Committee for a presentation by Laura Furman, Midway Village Museum Curator, on the stories of the women of Rockford's Women's Suffrage Plaza. 

Play that Beat with ALAS
Thursday, March 17 at 12 p.m.

Play that Beat (co-sponsored by ALAS)-is a song guessing competition, inspired by the app Shazam, this event will have the contestants guess the female artist, with a time limit, for prizes. If you love music and trivia, this is a great event to experience!

Craftivism 101
Thursday, March 24 at 1 p.m.

Making change with a needle and thread. Learn to cross-stitch and create social change with the Women's History Month Committee! All supplies will be provided and no previous experience is necessary.
Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome! This event is family friendly and children are welcome.
