RVC Distinguished Alumnus Brent Brodeski was recognized as a 2026 Chicago Titan 100 and inducted into the Chicago Titan 100 Hall of Fame.
The Titan 100 program honors top CEOs and executives who demonstrate strong business performance, leadership, and lasting influence in their industries and communities. This is Brent’s third consecutive year receiving this recognition.
Brent’s professional journey began at Rock Valley College. As the oldest of six children in a single-income family, he was the first in his household to earn a college degree. His time at RVC helped launch an academic and professional career that continued at Northern Illinois University, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and an MBA with an emphasis in accounting.
Today, Brent serves as the founder and CEO of Savant Wealth Management, a firm that manages more than 37 billion dollars in assets and serves thousands of clients nationwide. What started out locally in Rockford is now a nationally renowned company with more than 500 employees and more than 200 employee member-owners located in 46 offices across 20 states. Today, the firm offers investment management, financial planning, retirement plans, and family office services to financially established individuals and institutions. Additionally, Savant Wealth Management provides accounting and tax-related services through its affiliate, Savant Tax & Consulting, and other legal related services through its affiliated law firm, Savant Legal LLP.
A highly credentialed professional, Brent is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and Chartered Financial Analyst® certifications. Along the way, Brent continued to invest in those following behind him. He has shared his knowledge in the classroom, teaching investment and finance courses at Rock Valley College, Rockford University, and Northern Illinois University.
Throughout his career, Brent has helped shape the financial planning industry. He co-founded Zero Alpha Group and the Alliance for RIAs, participated in Vistage and The Strategic Coach, and is a current member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
Brent has always found ways to give back. He served twelve years on the RVC Foundation Board and contributed his time to the NIU Foundation Board. His dedication to community has been recognized often, including the Distinguished Alumnus Award from RVC in 2014, the Distinguished Finance Alumnus Award from NIU in 2018, the Alumni Excellence Award from Boylan Catholic High School in 2015, and was named Citizen of the Year by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce in 2017.
As the Foundation celebrates Brent’s latest honor, Brittany Freiberg, Chief Development Officer at the Rock Valley College Foundation, shared: “Brent is the embodiment of ‘start here (RVC) and go anywhere’. The RVC Alumni Network is extremely proud to call Brent one of our own, and our RVC Foundation team is deeply grateful for the twelve years of leadership and generosity Brent has shared with us on behalf of our students. I hope his journey, success and impact serve as an inspiration to other RVC students and alumni that might follow in his footsteps.”
