About the Program
Students who intend to pursue a Bachelor's degree or those who have an interest in
music will benefit from taking courses in music theory, history, and applied music,
which will provide a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects
of music. RVC offers a Jazz Ensemble, Chorus, Gospel Choir, Community Band, Community
Orchestra, and Community Master Chorale.

While many students go on to pursue careers in music, many transfer to four-year colleges and universities to continue their music studies.
