About the Program
The study of humanities involves the exploration of human culture and the human experience. It is a broad field that includes disciplines such as literature, philosophy, history, art, music, religion, linguistics, and cultural studies.
The humanities examine the cultural and intellectual achievements of societies throughout history and across different regions of the world. Scholars in the humanities seek to understand the values, beliefs, and social norms that shape human behavior, as well as the ways in which these cultural constructs have evolved over time.
What can I do with this degree?
The study of humanities encourages critical thinking, cultural awareness, and empathy for others. It can help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world, as well as foster an appreciation for the diversity of human experience.
Program Pathways
