Program Pathways
Students should meet with an Academic Advisor to develop a clear pathway leading to a seamless transfer experience or transition to the workforce. For additional possibilities that may require an advanced degree or certification, make an appointment with an Academic Advisor.
Most EET classes include a hands-on laboratory component taught by instructors with experience. Students will learn how to use electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital multimeters.
Graduates have the option to pursue a baccalaureate from Northern Illinois University and other select universities. Students are advised to contact the institution to which they plan to transfer to assess course transfer credit availability.
RVC & NIU offer two options for students to complete their Bachelors degree in this area:
- B.S. Technology in Applied Manufacturing Technology (online)
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering (at RVC's Main Campus)
See your Academic Advisor for more information.
