I say unofficially diagnosed because when I was a student there were no disability laws or educational supports. The first incarnation of the Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) was passed in 1975. I graduated from high school in 1973.

Rock Valley College Disability Support Services is excited to announce that our Raising Aspirations through an Inclusive Student Experience (RAISE) program has been approved by the U.S. Department of Education to become a Comprehensive Transition & Postsecondary (CTP) program.
