Celebrating Student Leadership at the 2025 RVC Student Life Leadership Awards

The Rock Valley College Student Life Leadership Awards were held on Wednesday, May 7, at the Stenstrom Student Center on the main campus.

This annual celebration recognized students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and a deep dedication to enhancing campus life.

The awards honor those who have made a significant impact through their involvement in student organizations, clubs, and activities, as well as through their committed service to the Rock Valley College community.

The following students were honored in 18 categories:

Arvee Spirit Award - Nori Cecil Barnes

Emerging Leader of the Year Award - Natalie Melendez

Excellence in Collaboration Award - Association of Latin American Students and Campus Activities Board

Organization Advisor of the Year - Mara Lopez

Organizational President of the Year - Perla Esquer

Outstanding Organizational Program - RVC Phi Theta Kappa

Outstanding Service to Students - Jesus Martinez

Presidential Award for Organization Excellence - Campus Activities Board

Presidential Award for Student Leadership - Juan Neira

Student Employee of the Year - Audrey Brilinski

Student Employee of the Year - Ewan Bickford

Most Improved Organization - Association of Latin American Students

Rising Star Award - Irvin Gutierrez Jaimes

Conqueror Award - Reuben Sanchez

Student Improvement Award -  Taesoo Jang

Surge Award - Sean Abarracoso

Phoenix Award - Penelope Macias-Garcia

Evolving Award - Benjamin Kohn

These awards aim to encourage students to continue developing as leaders, inspiring them to create positive change within their communities and beyond.
