RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
Information Technology has responsibility for designing, implementing and maintaining Rock Valley College’s voice, video and data systems, for both academic and administrative purposes. This includes resources such as the student system, the financial system, and the human resources/payroll system; audio-video systems, Channel 20 programming, distance learning facilities, and smart classrooms; web-based resources, e-mail, specialized applications, desktop computer systems, and student computer labs; and the telephone system, and payphones.

RVC has many different computer labs used for classroom instruction. There are two labs that students can use outside of the formal classroom setting. All labs contain computers with Internet and EAGLE access and standard software as well as printers for student use.
A lab assistant or student worker is available in the Woodward Technology Center and Student Center labs to assist students by answering questions and assisting with computer functions. It is strongly recommended that students using the computer labs save all of their work to thumb drives.

RVC- Secure Authentication and Access
The Secure Authentication and Access method is preferred and requires one-time setup on your wireless device. It uses WPA2 Enterprise security and therefore does not require you to manually supply login credentials on a daily basis.
RVC-Easy-Web-Internet
RVC-Easy-Web-Internet is a temporary and easy way to get Internet access and requires you to use your web browser to authenticate. It is an unsecured, but authenticated method for accessing the Internet.

As a college student, you are eligible for education software discounts. Look for these discounts at the RVC Bookstore.

A coin-operated copy machine is available to students on the first floor of the Library and an additional one is located in the Student Center first floor computer lab. The machines are accessible during regular operating hours.
