RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Rock Valley College will be hosting its annual College Night on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the RVC Physical Education Center (PEC). College Night is open to people of all ages and affords prospective students the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 125 colleges, universities, vocational and technical schools.
In addition to hosting college representatives, Rock Valley College will be presenting information sessions on financial aid. Tours of the Rock Valley College campus will also be available, and Rock Valley's Financial Aid staff will help you better understand your financial options for attending college.
RVC Academic Advising staff will also be available to help students explore colleges through Career Cruising, an industry-leading online career guidance and planning system that helps students find colleges who offer their majors in order to narrow their search process.
College Night is open not only to high school students but also to parents of prospective students, current college students who are looking to transfer, and adults looking to return to school. There is something for everyone at College Night.
There is no admission charge to attend. Prospective students are encouraged to bring their families. The RVC Physical Education Center is located on the RVC main campus at 3301 North Mulford Road in Rockford.
