The Friends of the Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College will host a fundraiser at Barnes & Noble in the CherryVale Mall on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
By presenting an official voucher for the RVC fundraiser to the cashier at the time of your purchase at Barnes & Noble that day, you will be donating a portion of the net sale to the RVC library. Proceeds from all sales will enhance the Estelle M. Black Library’s DVD Collection in the areas of foreign film, documentary and Spanish spoken language study. Vouchers can be printed in advance from the RVC website or simply mention the RVC fundraiser to the cashier in the store on the day of the event.
The fundraiser will include appearances by Rock Valley College alumni authors as well as book signings and afternoon readings, a wildlife demonstration, and fun activities for children.
