RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

The event's theme is truck driver safety and will feature numerous guest speakers throughout the day. Speakers Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - Terry Montalbano, Illinois Secretary of State 10:00 a.m. - Tom Weise, Illinois Department of Transportation 11:00 a.m. - Jim Solomon, National Safety Council 1:00 p.m. - Trooper Timothy Roush, Illinois State Police 2:00 p.m. - Robert Meyer, Federal Railroad Administration 3:00 p.m. - Illinois Department of Transportation, CSA Rules & Regulations A number of local trucking companies will be at the job fair recruiting drivers, including: Swift, Star, Schneider, Tmc, Maverick, Roehl, Werner, U.S. Xpress, Tra Nsam, Falc On, and Averitt. You will also have the opportunity to meet trucking vendors such as Maggio Towing, PeterBuilt, and Lawrence National Lease. There will also be door prizes throughout the day. Truck parking will be available. Open to local trucking companies that employ truck drivers, current truck drivers with 1-2 years of experience, current Truck Driver Training students, and anyone who might be interested in learning more about a career as a truck driver.The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
