BURPEE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY began as a Works Progress Administration project of the 1930's. Burpee is a natural history museum specializing in paleontology, geology, biology and Native American life. Burpee has partnered with Rock Valley College Whiz Kids to offer educational content in a exciting and fun way! Bring your adventurous, exploring curiosity and we'll provide the opportunities to use them. All classes will be taught by Burpee Museum Instructors and will held at the Burpee Museum located at 737 N. Main St., Rkfd.

Burpee Adventurers: Treasure Hunters 100
(Ages 6-8) Wear your treasure hunting clothes and discover how treasure hunters find treasure and what tools they use. Then go on a "Treasure Hunt" in Burpee's back yard. This hands-on class is designed for the younger set, be prepared to go outside and get dirty!
