  • To help students obtain their GED certification.

  • To assist students in learning/improving life and job skills.

  • To provide strong mentors for students to assist them in achieving their goals.

  • To encourage/assist students to move on to advanced training or education and to help them develop an appreciation for lifelong learning.

  • To help students earn occupational certification in various skilled trades.

  • To help students gain employment or improve their current earnings with a better job.

WHO CAN ENROLL?

  • Youth between the ages of 17-21

  • Youth who are authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Those who are in compliance with the Selective Service requirements (for males 18 years of age or older born after December 31, 1959)

  • Youth who meet the Federal Government’s low income eligibility guidelines

  • Youth who have not completed high school

  • If you’re a foster child, homeless or a runaway, are pregnant or parenting

  • Residents of Boone and Winnebago Counties
