RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

STELLA DOBBINS, (MA, University of Houston) is an artist and art historian who exhibits her work nation-wide and is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.

SUE MICHAELSENwelcomes students of all ages and physical differences to her classes. She's earned Tai Chi and Chi Kung Teaching Certification from expert Medical Doctors and Masters of Healing Arts in China, USA and Canada. Also a Jin Shin Do® Acupressure teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist, with advanced training in injury prevention and assisting sports performance.


PATRICIA HALVERSON founded the CENTER FOR LIVING WHOLE after many years of exploring authentic truth, a life-changing trip to Peru, and life-changing training in alternative therapies. She is studied, trained or certified in vibrational energy, therapeutic essential oils, herbal medicine, natural and psycho-spiritual methods of healing for emotional release. Her focus lies in helping people release, renew and reconnect with their inner voice of truth and listen to their body's wisdom. Presenter is a distributor, educator and trainer of Young Living essential oils and protocols.
