RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
Microsoft Office Certifications
Rock Valley College (RVC) is an authorized Certiport Testing Center offering a certification for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). The MOS certification validates skills in using Microsoft Office 2010. Examinees may be certified through Rock Valley College in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. Master certification is also available.
Certification testing is conducted in the RVC Testing Center, located on the lower level of the Student Center. Please schedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance. To schedule an appointment, please call the Rock Valley College Testing Center at (815) 921-2385.
Standard fees for MOS are $95 per test. Payment by check or cash will be due at the time of testing. Examinees that already have a voucher for MOS (from work, Certiprep, Elevate America, or another source) must bring the voucher to the appointment. These examinees will be charged only a $15 proctor fee. Re-tests are subject to the $15 proctor fee.
